# DealTrio

> DealTrio is a free web tool. You describe a product, optionally add fit details (like a car's year, make, and model) and a US ZIP, and it returns three picks: the cheapest new option (price plus shipping when the listing shows it), the best-reviewed option (star rating weighted by review count), and a local used listing near the ZIP (from OfferUp or Craigslist). Facebook Marketplace needs a login, so DealTrio gives a search link for it instead.

- Every product link comes from a live search result and is opened again before it's shown. DealTrio never makes up URLs.
- New items come from Amazon search results. Used items come from OfferUp, located by ZIP, and Craigslist for the Seattle area.
- AI (Google Gemini) only writes search terms and marks each listing as a fit or not. Prices, ratings and links come from the stores themselves.
- No signup. No affiliate links today.

- POST https://dealtrio.pages.dev/api/search with JSON {"q": "...", "fit": "...", "zip": "98275"}. It's rate-limited per IP and has a daily cap.
