Privacy
The short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no ads, and we don't sell anything about you.
- What you type. Your product, fit details, and ZIP are sent to our server so we can run the search. Your words go to Google's Gemini API, which picks search terms and checks fit, and the search terms go to Amazon, OfferUp, and Craigslist. Gemini is on Google's free tier, and Google may use free-tier inputs to improve its products. Don't type anything personal.
- Saved results. To save money and be polite to the stores, we keep each search's result for up to 6 hours, saved under a scrambled key made from what you typed, with no IP address. That way the same search returns quickly.
- Rate limiting. We count searches per IP address per hour to prevent abuse. The counter expires after an hour.
- Your browser. We remember your ZIP in your browser's local storage so you don't have to retype it. You can clear it anytime.
- Analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, may keep standard request logs and anonymous traffic stats.
- Links out. When you click a pick, you're on that store's site, and its privacy policy applies. We don't use affiliate links today. If we add them, this page will say so.
