How it works

  1. We work out what to look for. AI turns your request into search terms and a list of must-haves, like thread size or capacity.
  2. We search live listings. We pull current listings from Amazon for new items, and from OfferUp and Craigslist for local used ones.
  3. We check fit. AI marks each listing as a fit, a maybe, or not a fit. Accessories, wrong sizes and junk get dropped.
  4. We pick three. Cheapest is the lowest price, counting shipping when the listing shows it, among options with decent reviews. Best reviewed ranks by rating weighted by number of reviews, so 4.6 stars from 3,000 reviews beats 5.0 stars from 4. Local used is the cheapest listing that fits near your ZIP.
  5. We check the links. Every link comes from a live search result and is opened again before we show it. We never make up URLs.
